I needed to doodle something fun. The Goon Show is fun, so I doodled one of my favourite gags involving Neddy Seagoon, Grypt-thynne and The Famous Eccles.

I feel very happy because I knew what this was as soon as it popped up on my watch. Oh, lovely lovely bootlegs...can't find those guys anywhere around here. Anyway, I love it! I like the video, too :) And Eccles popping up like that is just goofy, haha...

I pretty much imagine The Goon Show as a cartoon in my head when listening so Eccles popping up in that way was a must! :XD:

As a recent Goon fan this makes my day. Great character drawings of the three Goons.

BTW, where do you get your Goon fix? I've been lucky that Shoutcast radio has a 24/7 Goon show station.

Really nice; the expressions are perfect, and I love the way Eccles looks. The animation you posted on YouTube looks great, too, limited as it is.

Thanks, I have seen some rough sketches Spike Milligan made of the characters but I just can't hold the one for Eccles in my head. THIS is the one I feel suits the voice better, at least for me!

Oh man, this is probably one of my most favourite sketches. Until I saw your depiction of Eccles, the one that Milligan had drawn was admittedly always the one that I had gone with. For the most part though I always tend to go with Milligan's basic depictions (Seagoon being somewhat overweight, Grytpype being sharply dressed, Bloodnok in an explorer's suit complete with pith helmet, and so on). This is an excellent depiction of that sketch nonetheless :D
