The Slender Man Mythos Part 7: SAPH, UF, OBD

Well, it seems the previous Slender Man strip wasn't QUITE the last one!
commissioned me to cover these three series, the first being his own, followed by his girlfriend's and then a series he favours personally.

SAParanormal Hunters: A group of amateur paranormal investigators research strange events around their town but get more than they bargained for when a tall, thin gentleman comes calling.
This series is still in the early stages (they've just started building up their proxy) but it shows promise. I do like the irony of having half the group sceptical about the Slender Man and the other half suffering too much of the paranormal!
My favourite parts are definitely Matt (the shivering guy) suffering the loss of huge chunks of time. Very smooth editing there! [link]

The Undecided Five: A group of highschoolers discuss what they want to do after graduation. Unfortunately, their plans are disrupted by threatening notes, disappearances and murder...
Apparently this series will feature other creepy pasta elements but for now they just have the Slender Man and a giggling proxy... A good deal of the script is improvised which doesn't always work for me as this can lead to rambling, characters interupting each other and "corpsing" but on the other hand this does make the group dynamic feel very natural. We all know and have friends like this! You also definitely want Skye and Alex on your side in a fight!: [link]

One Bad Dream: It begins with Rob's new computer sending him strange jumbled messages. It leads to events that signal that the Slender Man is a herald for the coming apocalypse. Zalgo is coming...
I must admit I spent a good deal of time with this series wondering who everyone was and what they were meant to be doing but things did get a lot clearer in the second season as a plot emerged and it's certainly an ambitious one! Maybe a little too ambitious for the budget admittedly, but it still gets points for originality! Nice to see someone trying something different where Slender Man isn't the main concern... [link]
