Now that was a fun holiday! I did get sunburn (the shoulders. It's always the shoulders!) and four days were spent watching Tropical Storm Fay make everything very wet but it was all a nice change of pace from England. Yes, even the rainy parts could be classed as being different!
I experienced some new rides and revisited old ones. I saw the Blue Man Group at Universal and the Finding Nemo musical at Animal Kingdom. I went on an air boat ride and a glass-bottom boat tour, had a wander around the town of Celebration and bought books and Floridian-stlye clothing (isn't that a lovely word? Floridian...)
Now I'm home again and, although Florida is a lovely place, it is nice to get back to a more normal diet and less extreme weather -to be able to spend a day not covered in sweat and/or warm rainwater!
I did do a little sketching while out there but I want to colour a few of the drawings in first before I put them up here. Besides I need to wade through my message box at the moment. 161 messages? Thanks guys!

Finding Nemo: the Musical is still pretty new. I got the impression that it had only been running for just under a year, performing in a theater at Animal Kingdom where the Tarzan Rocks! show used to be.
Basically it's a half-hour version of the film with songs in place of some of the longer stretches of dialogue. The actors are dressed in basic costumes with a puppet version of their character in their hands although there were more bigger and complicated puppets like Crush and Mr. Ray who were fixed to some kind of mechanism that meant the singer didn't have to hold the whole thing up by themselves!
My dad filmed the whole thing (We had good seats, Dory and Marlin stopped right in front of us!) but I've just this second checked on YouTube and found that other people have recorded it as well. It was certainly more impressive than the Disney theme parks usual play adaptions of their films!
